Jaya which in Sanskrit means a victory, is inspired by some paintings from the East created in the 1700s that show lovers in each other’s company. Two lovers in their royal dresses unite in an embrace under a flowering tree a victory over odds. Their attendants pour wine from an amphora and hold bowls overflowing with fruits in celebration.
