Discovery Set

This discovery set was absolutely perfect! Beautiful packaging and presentation, and I loved that everything I needed was included - cards with fragrance notes and background information about the scent, and test strips, all right there in one place. It made the whole experience of smelling through the set so immersive and convenient. The fragrances were also beautiful - my favorites were Under The Mango Tree and Classic Kaapi. I already have a bottle of Chai Chai Chai!

Opening my discovery set package from Anjali perfumes was a beautiful experience. I was so impressed with the packaging and presentation. Sniffing the samples was a joy! Monsoon Madness is my favorite so far, however, each fragrance was an interesting olfactory journey that I am glad to have traveled. Thank you!

This was a gorgeous discovery set. There are so many winners in this collection, Anjali is a genius. Mantra, Chai Chai Chai, and Sea Glass are standouts, but honestly they all are beautiful. A someone who has lived in South Asia and the PNW, Anjali has beauitfully captured scent memories from both places.

Everything from the packaging, to the artwork, to the scents is beautifully thought out and creates a whole sensory experience when sampling through the fragrances. I thoroughly enjoyed playing with Anjali perfumes and getting to know the brand’s scent style. I love that you could choose the size of the set and the specific scents to personalize the experience. As a picky scent enthusiast, I can truly say I enjoyed every single scent in the set. Now the hard part is figuring out which ones to upgrade first!

It’s been a while since I’ve tried a sample set that I’ve completely fallen in love with. All of Anjali’s scents transport you to different scenes in your mind. Jaya is by far the stand out for me. I’ll definitely be getting a full bottle! Sea glass and Iconic Island are also full bottle contenders for me too. The packaging is also very elegant and comes with test trips and the individual perfume cards.

I’d been on the search for perfumes that represented the Indian scents like sandalwood and jasmine that I’d grown up with, and a reddit thread led me here. Even before I tried the perfumes, I was impressed by the contents of the box they came in. It was so personal and thoughtful, with a penned note and separate note cards for each scent with beautiful illustrations, as well as a description of the inspiration behind each scent.

Then came testing the scents, and Jaya was easily the victor (yes, pun intended). It reminded me of an Indian wedding with that sweet rose water floral smell in the air. Mantra and Monsoon Madness were my other favorites, both with distinct profiles. As any Indian knows, mangoes are a non negotiable inclusion when talking about flavors of the country, and Under the Mango Tree, with that raw mango top note was an excellent surprise.

I have not even tested anything yet. The beautiful smell coming from the box as I open it already won be over! The samples come in a cloth bag and there is a story card to accompany each scent and the test trips. This is such a beautiful presentation. The hard part will be figuring out what full bottle to wear! Im blown away!

The Anjali perfume samples came wrapped in a nice dust bag embossed with the company name on the front. The scents I received were Iconic Island-very beautiful rose fragrance that feels bottle worthy. Chai Chai Chai-a nice black tea and milk forward fragrance, the spices play gently in the back. This is a delicate fragrance. The third perfume I received is Classic Kaapi-which is meant to be a coffee fragrance. The first spritz is black coffee. Then the leather, suede, and frankincense take over, and unfortunately for me, it turned into an acrid plastic/rubber tire smell.
My favorite is Iconic Island.

Love both discovery sets I purchased. Now comes the difficult part -- deciding which one I want a full bottle of!

I love these discovery set! I plan to purchase a bigger bottle of the Tiger Bright when I run out. That was by far my favorite one because it reminds me of incense!

The whole set was so fun to smell through, and the presentation was spectacular. The art cards for each scent were especially stunning. My favorites were Under the Mango Tree and Flame of the Forest--both very unique yet perfectly wearable. I'll be looking forward to getting travel sizes!

This was a great discovery set, it was nice to try them all before deciding on which to get a full bottle of. The scents are all different form one another so narrowing it down was difficult.

This is a great discovery set and have discovered some new favorites. I will be yearning for Sea Glass for a while. Quick shipping by and everything was packaged so nicely to create an awesome sampling experience.

I chose a custom set of five samples after a friend passed along her sample of Monsoon Madness to me and I fell in love. Anjali creates beautiful fragrances with inspired composition structures you're unlikely to find anywhere else. Lovers of niche perfumery will find something they love here, an incredible range!

I have been following Anjali's tiktok for a while and finally ordered her sample set. I regret not ordering sooner (Don't be like me, don't wait, just put it in the cart). These are beautiful, lovingly packaged with care. Each scent was inspired by Anjali's memories and will transport you. Honestly the notes for Monsoon Madness didn't seem like it would be the type of fragrance I would be drawn to. But I totally understand now, why it's one of her best sellers, it's soo beautiful. My favorites were Jaya, Monsoon Madness and Mantra. Himalayan Dawn, Forest Flame and Under the Mango tree are beautiful skin scents if you're looking for that, your skin but better, perfect for the office type of scent. Tiger bright is warm and comforting, and to me feels like it will be a perfect fall scent. I find all of them to be unisex and very wearable.

I’m a sucker for a fascinating collections by truly independent perfumers. I loved sampling all of these and hearing about the stories behind each on “OMG we should totally do a podcast recently. I’ll definitely be buying full bottles of Mango Tree and Tiger Bright!
